Eye care in West Sahara

The foundation of our eye care in West Sahara is a yearly eye exam, recommended for all of our valued patients. Dr. Roter will be able to determine your current vision requirements and meet them ideally with the appropriate prescription lenses, as well as screen you for common eye diseases so that any concerns can be addressed before they reach an advanced stage. You may have been getting eye exams your entire life, but thanks to continued advancements in technology, our optical store is pleased to offer diagnostics that are even more accurate and precise, such as the Reichert digital vision chart. We are committed to your optimal vision and eye wellness and make it our goal to have what is necessary to maximize both.

The two components of our eye exam are equally important. It’s easy to become accustomed to seeing only adequately or even poorly because you just get used to it. Our eye care in West Sahara, however, believes you should never settle for less than the absolute best eyesight that you can have. If you have never worn corrective lenses before, you may be able to benefit from them now to obtain greater clarity and sharpness. And if you already wear eyeglasses or contact lenses, an update to your existing prescription may be in order. The Reichert digital vision chart is just one of the great tools we have here to measure your visual acuity ideally. The second part of the exam is about testing you for eye diseases like glaucoma and cataracts, which can affect anyone at any age. Furthermore, those and other ones that may be applicable to you such as macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy, present no clear symptoms in their early stages. It is vital to diagnose them before they have a chance to lead to loss of vision or eye damage.

Be good to your eyes and they’ll be good to you. Call our office and schedule an appointment for an eye exam to take advantage of our eye care in West Sahara.

If our optometrist detects any type of vision problem, you will be able to receive appropriate treatment and most likely prevent any vision loss from occurring.

During a comprehensive eye exam our optometrist will be able to determine if you have any signs of glaucoma. Glaucoma is an eye disease that shows no symptoms in the early stages. If it is left to go untreated, it may cause you to have permanent vision loss which cannot be restored. However, when glaucoma is diagnosed early by our optometrist, he will usually be able to treat it by prescribing medicated eye drops to control eye pressure. Our optometrist will need to monitor your eyes on a periodic basis to make sure that the glaucoma is not progressing. However, these small steps will be very instrumental in helping you to prevent vision loss. During a comprehensive eye exam your eyes will be screened for a variety of eye problems including: cataracts; macular degeneration; glaucoma; diabetic retinopathy; retinal tears; dry eyes; and other problems of cornea, retina, and macula. Comprehensive eye examinations are an invaluable tool in maintaining optimal vision. At the office of Glenn Roter, OD, we provides specialized eye care that extends far beyond your eyes to include your health and wellness, even your lifestyle. Our eye doctors practice at the highest level of licensure, which includes providing comprehensive Spring Valley eye testing and exams, prescribing medication for eye problems, and even suggesting vitamins to keep your eyes healthy.

One of our most popular procedures is Spring Valley eye testing and eye exams. Our complete eye examinations allow us to accurately detect eye disease or other abnormalities early, often before they present any symptoms. Some diseases develop slowly without causing pain or vision loss. Early detection of any problems can reduce the risk of further harm and allow for a choice of treatment options. Our eye doctors believe that you should be well informed and educated about your eye care. Therefore, during your eye examination, we’ll explain the purpose of the equipment we use so you can become more comfortable as well as knowledgeable about your eye care and health. When we examine your eyes, our eye doctors use the most modern examination equipment available to ensure an accurate and efficient examination and diagnosis. For example, we use the Reichert digital vision chart, which is one of the most advanced instruments used by eye doctors to ensure an accurate eye exam. The entire exam process can take an hour depending on the complexity of the problem. In addition to the Reichert digital vision chart, each patient will be evaluated with a refraction slit lamp, intraocular pressure, and a retinal exam. Personalized to you, no two eye examinations or eyewear prescriptions are the same.

It is our mission to preserve, restore, and enhance your vision. Our comprehensive eye exams with the most advanced technology are one of the best ways to ensure proper eye health. Healthy eyes and a healthy body go hand in hand. At the office of Glen Roter, OD, when it comes to your eye health, we look at the big picture. But we never lose sight of you in it. Tropicana optometry

Have you been thinking that it is about time that you had a comprehensive eye exam? If so you will want to make an appointment to visit our fine optometrist at the office of Glenn Roter, OD. Our Tropicana optometry practice has been devoted to protecting and preserving the vision and eye health of our patients for over 15 years.
Our office is located at the Las Vegas Vision Center of Walmart. At our office we offer a wide variety of eye care services including: eye exams; contact lens exams and fittings; and treatment of eye infections and eye diseases. One of the most important services we provide is providing comprehensive eye exams for our patients. Since many eye diseases, like glaucoma, do not present any obvious early symptoms, it is important that these sight-stealing diseases are detected early. Once diagnosis is made, there are generally many things that can be done to keep glaucoma, or other eye diseases, at bay. However, once vision is lost to an eye disease, it is sometimes impossible to regain it. This is the case with glaucoma. So be sure to have vision exams on a regular basis at our Tropicana optometry office.

During a comprehensive eye exam, Dr. Roter will examine many aspects of your vision and eyes. Your visual acuity will be determined so that a prescription can be written if necessary. Many eye diseases will be tested for including: glaucoma; cataracts; diabetic retinopathy; macular degeneration; and others. Early detection of many of these conditions will help prevent future vision loss. Your eyes will be dilated with medical eye drops so that the inside of the eye can be viewed. Any retinal problems will be detected and diagnosed. The surface of the cornea will also be examined for any types of problems or irritations. If you want to get a contact lens prescription, additional tests will be added to make sure that you can comfortably and safely wear contacts. You may be tested for dry eye syndrome. Measurements of the cornea and iris will also be taken to ensure that the contacts will fit your eyes properly. Contact lens prescriptions contain information about how the contacts should be shaped along with vision correction information. If you would like to visit Dr. Roter soon for an eye examination, make an appointment with our office. Take advantage of the excellent Tropicana optometry care our office provides.
